Single motor vehicle accident leaves one entrapped in a critical condition.
Midlands ems crews were dispatched to Cedara off-ramp for a motor vehicle accident at around 19:47.
Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle on its side with the occupant still inside the vehicle. Midlands ems crews quickly gained entry to the vehicle and found the patient had sustained life-threatening injuries and required urgent care advanced life support treatment.
Specialized equipment (jaws of life ) where needed to remove the patient safely from the vehicle.
Once removed patient was transported in a critical condition to a nearby hospital for further care….
