As part of the Launch of the Easter Holiday Safety Plan, a multidisciplinary roadblock was held at Tugela Plaza near Ladysmith earlier today. Director of the Road Traffic Inspectorate: Victor Chetty spearheaded the roadblock where law enforcement ensured that vehicles were checked for compliance as well as contraband.
He then proceeded to the Bergville Taxi Rank where he interacted with commuters and public transport operators on issues of road safety.
