A vehicle plunged down an embankment on the M41 Southbound near Umhlanga – KZN today (Saturday, 27/06/2026), leaving two (2) people injured.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the scene at approximately 07:00 where they located a black BMW extensively damaged in dense vegetation below the roadside guardrail.
The vehicle was occupied by two (2) people who sustained moderate injuries. Both patients were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital by a private ambulance. The collision caused extensive damage to the front of the vehicle, with the bumper, bonnet and grille torn away.
The cause of the crash has not yet been established….
