One person was fortunate to escape without injury after a vehicle overturned on the M25 near the Duffs Road Bridge in Durban on Tuesday evening.
KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene after receiving multiple reports from passing motorists requesting assistance.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the overturned vehicle and established that the driver had apparently lost control after the vehicle struck a large patch of water covering the roadway, causing it to overturn.
Fortunately, the occupant sustained no injuries and declined further medical treatment.
An excessive amount of water continues to flow across the M25, creating hazardous driving conditions, traffic delays, and partial obstructions. The source of the water cannot be confirmed at this stage.
