No injuries were reported after a car and a truck collided with each other on the southbound lane of the R102 between Ottawa and Verulam – KZN.
A member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) stopped to assist at approximately 07:29 after he noticed the VW Polo facing oncoming traffic.
The driver of the vehicle informed the Reaction Officer that she attempted to avoid a truck that suddenly braked when she collided with a second truck in the lane she veered into.
Her vehicle spun out of control before coming to a stop in the emergency lane.
