Two taxis and three cars collide leaving thirteen injured on Roberts Avenue in Kensington, Johannesburg.

Thirteen people were left injured this evening following a collision between two taxis and three light motor vehicles on Roberts Avenue in Kensington, Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with several other services, arrived on the scene to find that one taxi had rolled and now sat in the middle of the road. The four other vehicles were found on the side of the road.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that the occupants had already climbed out of their vehicles and were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that three had sustained serious injuries while ten others had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients and provided the three seriously injured with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the patients were transported to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
