Two suspects aged (41) and (30) were arrested for possession of suspected stolen vehicles in Parys.
It is alleged that on Friday, 17 November 2023 at about 02:32, the Fezile Dabi District Highway Patrol members were performing their duties, when they received information about two vehicles stolen in Bothaville heading towards Parys to Sebokeng.
The members followed up on the information and the members spotted the two vehicles in Parys and gave chase.
The suspects then abandoned the vehicles and fled the scene on foot the police chased them and successfully arrested two suspects and the third suspect is still on the run.
Three vehicles were confiscated, two of which were stolen in Bothaville and the third vehicle which was used in the commission of the crime.
The suspects will appear before the Parys Magistrate Court on Monday, 20 November 2023.
