Two people have been left with serious injuries following a motor vehicle collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive near the Sunningdale area in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene to find a male patient entrapped in the wreckage of his vehicle. Rescue technicians from Metro Police used the Jaws-of-life to cut the man free.
Once free he and another were treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care by Emer-G-Med under the care of an Emergency Care Practitioner.
