At approximately 11h14 Titanium Securitas received multiple phone calls regarding a light aircraft that crashed in the vicinity of the Kraaifontein sewage plant.
The Titanium Securitas Medical Team and all the relevant role players made their way to the given address.
On arrival, two pilots were found outside the aircraft. One of whom sustained serious injuries and the other pilot sustained moderate injuries.
Both patients were stabilized on the scene by advanced life support paramedics.
One patient was flown to a level one trauma center by Air Mercy Service (AMS) and the other patient was transported via road to the appropriate facility.
Local authorities were on the scene to conduct a full investigation into the matter.
