Two people were injured this morning after the bus they were traveling on crashed into the R4o Barberton Pass between Nelspruit and Barberton, Mpumalanga.
ER24 paramedics were dispatched to the scene at 10h25.
On arrival, paramedics found the bus against the side of the mountain, blocking on of the lanes.
Paramedics assisted several patients out of the bus and assessed them. Two women were found to have sustained only minor injuries. The remaining passengers on the bus, fortunately, escaped injury.
The women were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
