Two pedestrians injured in taxi knock down in Hillcrest, Durban

Two pedestrians, believed to be in their 30s, were injured after they were knocked down by a taxi on the Old Main Road in Hillcrest, Durban last night.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the two pedestrians lying in the road. A male patient had sustained serious injuries, and a female patient sustained moderate injuries.
ER24 treated both on the scene before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our medics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
