Two injured when car rear-ends taxi in Carletonville

Two people were left injured this afternoon, including an eleven-year-old girl, when a light motor vehicle rear-ended a taxi on Annan Road in Carletonville.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene to find the taxi and light motor vehicle in the left-hand lane. 
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that an eleven-year-old girl had sustained serious injuries while a man had sustained only minor injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries, and the seriously injured girl provided with advanced life support interventions, before they were transported to The Fountain Private Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
