Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to Rubenstein Drive in the Moreleta Park area of Pretoria East for reports of a serious motor vehicle collision.
On arrival on the scene, it was found that two light motor vehicles collided head-on, resulting in two patients from one vehicle becoming mechanically entrapped.
With the assistance of Gauteng Provincial EMS's Special Operations Response Team, the patients were carefully extricated stabilized by Emer-G-Med's Advanced Life Support Paramedics.
Due to the severity of the one patient's injuries, a decision was made to airlift him to a specialist facility with the assistance of ROCKET HEMS.
Two others sustained moderate injuries and were also transported to hospital for further care….
