A cyclist and his passenger were knocked off their bicycle in Harvey road in Oranjesig, Bloemfontein by a taxi last night.
At approximately 18h00, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man and woman lying in the road.
The man sustained serious injuries to his chest and the woman sustained moderate injuries.
They were both treated and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of this collision is not yet known, local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
