Tshwane Metro Police officers have today Thursday 08 February 2018 made an outstanding arrest after discovering a place where fraudulent documents are being produced.

The officers stopped a Taxi which was driving facing on coming traffic in Van Der Hoff street at around 06h35 in the morning. They requested the driver to produce his driving permits.

Upon further questioning, the Taxi driver led the officers to an address in Mabopane Station where he purchased the documents.

When officers arrived at the address, Two suspects fled and they managed to apprehend one who was at the premises.

They then found that they also produce other fraudulent documents such as driver's licences; birth certificates, death certificates, Matric certificates and ID documents.

Laptops and computers suspected to be used to produce the documents were also found in the premises.

Materials from the home affairs and traffic departments were also amongst the documents found.
