CERT-SA Vaal Crew was on standby in Vaal Marina where the search continues for an 18-year-old boy who went missing after their canoe capsized on Sunday.
Bystanders were able to rescue one of the two victims and bring him to shore.
SAPS Water Wing and K9 Search and Rescue teams are still trying to locate the second victim.
