Taxi rolls leaving approximately fifteen injured on the N2 northbound highway in Amanzimtoti

Approximately fifteen people were left injured this afternoon when a taxi rolled on the N2 northbound highway in Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics, along with VEMA and Fire services, arrived on the scene to find the taxi lying on its roof in the middle of the road. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found walking around on the side of the road.
Paramedics assessed the passengers and found that approximately fifteen had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported, by various services, to nearby provincial hospitals.
The exact details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
