Taxi rear-ends car leaving twelve injured in Kagiso

Twelve people were left injured this morning when a taxi rear-ended a light motor vehicle on Randfontein Road in Kagiso.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 07h12 to find the taxi and light motor vehicle in the middle of the road. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicles and were found seated on the side of the road.

Medics assessed the patients and found that twelve people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.

The patients were treated for their injuries before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
