Taxi rear-ends bus leaving nine injured in Claremont

Nine people were left injured this morning when a taxi rear-ended a bus at the Imam Haron and 2nd Avenue intersection in Claremont, Western Cape.
ER24 personnel, along with Metro and Life Healthcare, arrived on the scene at 09h00 to find the bud and truck on the left side of the road. 
Medics assessed the patients and found that nine people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
