At least fifteen people were injured this afternoon when the taxi they travelled in overturned on Bank Road in Carletonville.
ER24 and other services arrived on the scene at 13h03 to find a taxi lying on its side on the side of the road. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were now seated along the roadside.
Medics assessed the patients and found that at least fifteen people, including a child, had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and later transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
