A taxi driver has been shot twice in the head by two passengers at the entrance of the Shoprite Distribution Center in Canelands , KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene at 11:08 by a passing farmer who was driving alongside the white Toyota Quantum & heard the gunshots. The taxi was then came to a standstill & the two suspects were seeing fleeing on foot towards a river. According to passengers, both suspects were clutching firearms. Several passengers also fled the scene fearing for their lives. A bullet was recovered inside the vehicle.
Reaction Officers conducted a search for the suspects & are currently awaiting assistance of the SAPS Dog Unit.
