Taxi crashes into tree leaving three injured on Koeberg Road in Killarney Gardens, Western Cape.

Three people were left injured this morning, two of them seriously, after a taxi crashed into a tree on Koeberg Road in Killarney Gardens, Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics, along with Life Healthcare and Metro Services, arrived on the scene to find the wrecked taxi on the side of the road. One of the patients was found trapped inside the taxi.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that two men and sustained numerous injuries and were in a serious condition while a third man was found with only minor injuries.
The patients were extricated from the vehicle and treated for their injuries. The seriously injured men were also provided with pain-relief mediation.
Once treated, the patients were transported to Groote Schuur Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
