Taxi crashes into a tree, leaving fourteen injured in Florida

Fourteen people were injured this morning when a taxi crashed into a tree on Hendrick Potgieter Road in Florida.

At 07h50, ER24 paramedics and another service arrived on the scene to find the taxi on the side of the road against a tree. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were walking around on the scene.

Medics assessed the patients and found that fourteen adults had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.

The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
