Twelve people were left injured this morning following a collision between a taxi and light motor vehicle on Walter Sisulu Drive in Potchefstroom.
ER24 paramedics, along with the Provincial Service, arrived on the scene at 07h44 to find the taxi and light motor vehicle on the side of the road.
Paramedics assisted the patients out of the vehicles and assessed them finding that the injuries sustained ranged from minor to moderate.
The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were informed of this incident.
