Taxi and car collide leaving thirteen people injured at the Beyers Naude and Milner Road intersection in Roosevelt Park.

Thirteen people were left injured this morning when a taxi and car collided at the Beyers Naude and Milner Road intersection in Roosevelt Park.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene at 06h15 to find the taxi and light motor vehicle parked on the pavement. The occupants from both vehicles were found seated on the sidewalk.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that all thirteen had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were later transported to Helen Joseph Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
