Taxi and car collide leaving four injured in Vereeniging

Four people were left injured this afternoon when a taxi and light motor vehicle collided on General Smuts Road in Vereeniging.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 13h22 to find the light motor vehicle and taxi on the one side of the road. Three men and a woman were found walking around the scene.
Medics assessed the patients and found that all four had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Mediclinic Emfuleni and Kopanong Provincial Hospital for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
