Taxi and car collide leaving at least seven injured in Wilgeheuwel, Johannesburg

At least seven people were left injured last night when a taxi and car collided on Beyers Naude Drive in Wilgeheuwel, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find taxi and vehicle in the road. The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicles and were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that at least seven had sustained only minor to moderate injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
It is understood that a number of other patients were transported before the arrival of paramedics.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
