The Provincial Head of the Hawks Major General Gerber is appealing to the community of Mpumalanga to join the dedicated members of the Hawks based Secunda Serious Organised Crime who are working tirelessly to eradicate drugs in Gert Sebande District by providing information on drug dealers and premises.
The call came after another intelligence driven disruptive operation was conducted by the Hawks together with Secunda CIG and Secunda K9 on Thursday, 09 March 2023. Information concerning drug trafficking and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition was followed up at 9 Kuschke Street Secunda.
The address was identified, and a search and seizure operation was executed. During the search, two suspects aged 32 and 62, were found in possession of drugs and unlicensed firearm and ammunition. Drugs 877 x packets of heroin,1 x 38 Special revolver, 2 cell phones,35 socks ( where drugs were hidden ) ,and R 2440 -00 cash money were seized for further investigation. The street value…
