IPSS Medical Search and Rescue division is currently on the scene on the beach at the Tugela Mouth area.
Reports from the scene indicate that a ski boat is in distress approximately one to two nautical miles out to sea.
Lifeguards from Mandini have launched a search in conjunction with IPSS Search and Rescue division.
At this stage, it is unknown what the nature of the emergency is….
