At approximately 11am on Friday morning Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the R21 for reports of a single vehicle rollover.
On arrival on scene a male patient in his sixties was found to have sustained critical injuries.
He was stabilized by Emer-G-Med paramedics and a decision was made to airlift him with the assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required.
