At 15H00 Thursday Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on the N2 Kwambonambi Bridge.
Reports from the scene indicate that a passenger bus and a LDV were involved in a collision.
Multiple people have sustained injuries ranging from mild to serious.
Multiple emergency vehicles, fire and Rescue as well as the police are on scene.
The total number of patients has yet to be confirmed, once treated the patients will be moved to a medical facility for further assessment and care, this is a developing story.
