VRMED and various other emergency services responded shortly after 15:00 on Tuesday afternoon to reports of a collision at the intersection of Eeufees road and Barden road in Bloemspruit, Bloemfontein.
On arrival crews were informed that one of the vehicles was carrying 12 school pupils aged between 4 and 10 years old. VRMED medics quickly triaged the injured pupils and called for additional resources to assist. 10 patients were transported to National district hospital with minor injuries; both drivers were lucky to escape without any injuries.
