ALS Paramedics can confirm that rescue operations at the scene of the structural collapse at a football training village in a rural area north of Durban have concluded.
SAPS, Metro Police Services and the SAPS Search and Rescue Division have cleared the area and confirmed that no further people have been located.
The number of injuries and fatalities remains unconfirmed at this stage.
Approximately eight people sustained serious to critical injuries and were rushed to various hospitals for further care.
The scene has been handed over to SAPS for further investigation, while rescue teams have left the area….
