Four people were injured this afternoon, three of them children, following a three-vehicle rear-end collision on the N2 Somerset West Road in Strand, Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 15h45 to find a taxi, light motor vehicle and light delivery vehicle in the middle of the road.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics discovered that a mother and her three children, aged between four and ten, had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Paramedics extricated the four from the vehicle and treated them for their injuries. Once treated, the four patients were transported to Mediclinic Vergelegen for further treatment.
