KwaZulu-Natal: At approximately 18H23 Saturday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on Allendale drive in Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that a metered taxi mini-bus taxi and a light motor vehicle were involved in a collision.
Eighteen people were injured in the collision and were treated by and transported by multiple ambulance services to hospitals for further treatment.
The Fire and Rescue Services and SAPS were on scene to investigate.
