Early Monday morning at approximately 06:00, the CERT Centurion crew responded to a pedestrian motor vehicle collision on Ruimte Road near Theuns van Niekerk Road in Wierdapark.
A male in his twenties sustained moderate injuries after allegedly being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the road on his way home following a night shift.
The patient was assessed and treated on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital in a stable condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this stage and are subject to investigation.
