A pedestrian was critically injured after he was run over on the R102 at the Kissoon and Tottenham Road intersection in Ottawa – KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from passing motorists requesting assistance for the poly-traumatised male.
On arrival, RUSA Members discovered the man on the side of the road. He was stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital in a critical condition.
It was alleged that he was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a grey VW Polo.
The occupants of the vehicle were not injured.
