The driver of a Toyota Quantum taxi was injured after he crashed into a tree in Phoenix, KZN today (Sunday).
The Reaction Unit South Africa Phoenix Operations Center received a call from a passerby at 10:14 reporting the accident. On arrival, it was established that the taxi was overtaking a vehicle when the driver lost control of his vehicle and ploughed into a tree. The driver was the only occupant of the minibus at the time of the accident.
He was treated for his injuries on the scene before being transported to the hospital by ambulance….
