Medi Response advanced life support paramedics, together with Lenmed eThekwini Hospital paramedics, are currently on scene in Ballito, where a vehicle has accidentally driven over a person, at the local car wash.
Paramedics are working to stabilise the critically injured man. Due to the nature of their injuries, the Air Mercy Services emergency medical helicopter has been dispatched to airlift the man.
The man will be flown to Specialist Hospital to a team of awaiting surgeons.
