CERT-SA Centurion crew responded to a pedestrian-vehicle collision on the R511 towards Hartebeespoort.
A man in his forties sustained serious injuries when he was struck by a passing utility vehicle while exiting his vehicle, which was parked next to the road.
The patient was stabelised on scene and airlifted to a level one trauma facility.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet clear at this time, and the incident was reported to the police.
