Last night IPSS Medical Rescue alongside IPSS Search and Rescue responded to reports of a vehicle down an embankment in the Nsuze area.
On arrival, it was discovered that a vehicle had lost control and veered off the road, down the side of a mountain.
A rope system was set up by members of IPSS Search and Rescue to access the vehicle.
Sadly, the sole occupant had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
Her body was recovered by IPSS Search and Rescue.
