Earlier this afternoon Emer-G-Med Paramedics responded to the scene of a head on collision on the N4.
Reports from the scene are that a light delivery vehicle and a light motor vehicle collided head on.
A male foreign national motorist aged approximately thirty five years old was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on arrival of paramedics, whilst six other people were treated for moderate injuries and were taken by ambulances to nearby hospitals for further medical care.
