A man believed to be twenty one years old has passed away due to his injuries after a single vehicle crash on the N3 Pinetown Bound near Pavilion, Westville in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Just after midnight Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man lying on the national highway next to the vehicle which lay on its roof. The man was in a critical condition and Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise the man on scene however due to the severity of his injuries the man went into Cardiac Arrest a short while later. Despite resuscitation efforts the injuries sustained were to severe and he was declared deceased on the scene.
At this stage the events leading up to the single vehicle crash Is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
