All districts' traffic teams are still reporting normal traffic on major roads within the province, however, more vehicles are expected on the N1, in both directions from the afternoon. Law enforcement officers remain deployed at major routes and critical points to monitor traffic and related incidents.
Motorists are reminded to drive with caution, avoid speeding and drunk driving, and look out for pedestrians at all times.
Pedestrians are urged to wear visible clothes at night. Never drink and cross the road and always look for oncoming traffic before crossing the road. Let us all arrive alive.
