Except for closures that may be required as a result of emergencies, both northbound lanes will be open to traffic tomorrow between Cedara Interchange in KwaZulu-Natal and Heidelberg Interchange in Gauteng.

Traffic is expected to pick up sharply from 09h00 and busy conditions will continue throughout most of the day.

According to the SA Weather Service early morning fog patches may be experienced along high-lying areas of the route such as Van Reenen’s Pass. Keep a safe following distance and headlights switched on when visibility is poor.
