IPSS Medical Rescue responded to a collision involving four vehicles on the N2 northbound between Chakas Rock and Umhali.
Eleven patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
IPSS Medical Advanced Life Support stabilised six seriously injured patients, who were transported to various facilities for further care.
Local authorities were also on the scene for assistance and further investigations.
