Multiple people injured in pile-up on the N2 South near Clare Road bridge

Approximately fifteen people have been injured after four vehicles including two taxis collided on the N2 South near Clare Road bridge this morning around 07:30am.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the vehicles in the two right-hand lanes. Multiple patients were found on scene and immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist with the multiple casualty scene. Once all the injured had been stabilised on the scene the injured were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the events leading up to the crash are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
