Multiple people injured in a crash on DInkelman Highway near Claremont

Just after 7 am Rescue Care Paramedics were called to DInkelman Highway near Claremont for a Taxi collision. On arrival, Paramedics found that a taxi and a bakkie had been involved in a rear-end collision. A total of fourteen people had sustained various injuries and were stabilized on the scene by multiple ambulances before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

Then just after 07:30 am Rescue Care, Paramedics responded to the M7 Durban Bound near the N3 on-ramp for a Truck and a Car Collision. On arrival, Paramedics found that the truck had overturned coming to rest on its side in the fast lane. Three occupants from both vehicles had sustained moderate injuries and were stabilized on the scene before being transported to various Hospitals for the further care that they required.

A single vehicle overturned on the M13 near Westwood Mall around 07:45. Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the single vehicle on its side in the center medium. The driver had sustained moderate injuries and was stabilized on the scene before being transported to a nearby Hospital for the further care that they required.

Around 08:45 Paramedics attended to a single vehicle crash on the M13 Fields Hill. One occupant had sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene by Paramedics before transporting them to a nearby Hospital for the further care that they required.

SAPS were on scene at all the above collisions and will be investigating further.
