Multiple hurt in taxi crash on the M4 South near Blamey Road

Multiple people have been injured after a taxi crash on Friday evening on the M4 South near Blamey Road around 18:30.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find multiple patients on the roadside. A total of seventeen people had sustained various injuries and more ambulances as well as Advanced Life Support Paramedics were dispatched to assist on the scene. Once all of the injured had been stabilised on the scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
