At 17H00 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on Modderfontein Road in Kempton Park.
Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in a collision.
Tragically the motorcyclist, a male in his forties sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
The driver of the light motor vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported by another private ambulance service to hospital.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
